I’m not really a fan of fizzy drinks, and I’m certainly not really a fan of lemonades, so why I decided to purchase Sprite, is beyond me.
I have burnt this before but I had a bit of a cold, and clearly didn’t get the full hit. So I decided to go back and give it another go, and I’m glad that I did.
I wasn’t sure what to expect because Sprite doesn’t really smell of anything. Well, it does, it’s smells a bit like lemon, but it’s not a strong scent. So going in, I really didn’t know what to expect.
Straight out of the packet, the stick itself smelt incredibly fresh, and being a lover of really fresh, clean scents, my interest in this stick suddenly increased.
I lit up the stick, grabbed a can of 7Up (see what I did there) and sat back. What I smelt was an incredibly simple scent. Some incense are full of complex notes, and that’s great, but sometime, you just want something that is a bit simpler, and this is what I got with Sprite. I was expecting quite a citrusy scent, maybe even a little sweet, but it wasn’t. I did get hints of citrus, lime in fact, but the only way I could describe this scent is ‘cool’. It was a really cool scent, almost like The Cool Water cologne.
Throughout the burn the scent remained consistent and didn’t change all that much, which I quite liked. I couldn’t really ask much more from this. It grew on me after my initial burn and I’m very pleased with it.
Scent: Cool, citrus, sharp
